-David Seville who, in a earlier part of his career, under his real name (Ross Bagdasarian) 
 co-wrote "Come On-a My House" for Rosemary Clooney.  As Seville, his "Witch Doctor" hit 
 # 1 in early 1958, and "Bird" followed it 3 months later.  He then created The 
 Chipmunks and the rest is history.  He died on 1/16/72 and his son took over The 
 Chipmunks.
